Prime Design Homes is looking for a talented and motivated Architectural Designer/Draftsman to join our growing team of home-building experts. In this role, you’ll bring dream homes to life—creating precise construction plans that balance creativity, functionality, and craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
Develop accurate and detailed construction drawings using leading CAD software.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure every plan meets code requirements and design intent.
Revise and refine existing plans to align with client feedback and project needs.
Generate material lists and project schedules to support efficient construction.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and documentation across all projects.
Partner with project managers to balance multiple projects and meet key deadlines.
Contribute innovative ideas during design reviews and team meetings.
Stay ahead of evolving building codes, design trends, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance to team members and assist with construction data management.
What You Bring
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience in the home building industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, as well as experience with SoftPlan and SketchUp, is a plus.
Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
