Welcome to 2208 Pine Needle Dr E, Mobile, AL 36609.  This home was originally built in 1981 and like many things from the ’80s that are no longer relevant, this home had some functional issues of its own.  After bringing these functional obscurities to light, we redesigned various aspects of this floorplan to make it more open and appealing to the way life is lived today. Once we stripped this house down to its core, we expanded the kitchen and opened access between the kitchen and living rooms. By expanding the kitchen we were able to provide additional cabinetry as well as provide space for an island and breakfast bar sitting area. We were then able to reconfigure the pantry and laundry rooms to allow for a larger walk-in pantry while maintaining a functional laundry area. While creating more open access between the living room and kitchen area, we were forced to remove a dry bar off of the living room but were able to recreate a space that allowed us to reintroduce a dry bar with an additional wine cooler and wine rack off the kitchen. The master bathroom was another area that saw a complete redesign. We were able to take what was a cramped, dungeon-like master bathroom and turn into a more open, airy master bathroom complete with a custom subway tile shower, double vanities, toilet closet, and his and her closets. This home is much more than your average renovation. When we say we stripped 2208 Pine Needle Dr E to its core, we mean we stripped it all the way to the studs, redesigned the floor plan, re-engineered all structural changes, re-wired the entire home, essentially updated all the plumbing, and rebuilt this house with custom amenities you would expect out of a new custom-built home. This process changes the effective age of a property. In essence, we are providing a new home to an existing, established neighborhood.
